Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear (1999-2003):
Axion was founded around 1999 by neighborhood friends Demo and Evol as a Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear competitive team.
Additionally teammates Neo, also a neighborhood friend, and Zero, the younger brother of Demo, joined the team along with BucK, Brandon, and LucKy who were from other competitive teams. These seven players comprised the original Axion roster.
Axion became a well known clan through out the Rogue Spear laddering community. Our record started with a strong 38 wins, 0 losses and went on to become 240-30 within the top ranks of CL (ClanLadder.com).
Our most ambitious map was Siberian Base II and later Nuclear Power Plant, the largest map in the game by fivefold. Our staple map, perhaps Axion's legacy of Rogue Spear, was Bunkers.
Axion continue through out our Rogue Spear career as various other team names comprised of the same original teammates and some new members as: Come Back Killers, 100-0, retiring at rank 1; Flying Seizure Robots, 38-0, top five ranks; Instinct, 181-7, rank 1; Osiris, 48-0, top ten ranks; and QDA, rank 1.
The second reincarnation of Axion was played on XGN (Xtreme Gaming Network). Among the original members, new additions to the team included Austin and Spawn.
In addition to Siberian Base II, Nuclear Power Plant, and Bunkers, Axion undertook City Street Large, Killhouse Double, and Ruined City as new maps to master and conquer.
At this time Rogue Spear was a struggling game. MSN Gaming Zone, the place we assembled and laddered at was shut down all together. Meanwhile, members became older and began to go their seperate ways. Axion retired with a less than glorious record at 294 wins & 121 losses alternating among the top five ranks of XGN.
Battlefield 3 (2011):
Axion was revived once again in October, 2011 with the release of Battlefield 3.
Most of the original members have been reinstated. Some retired competitive Rogue Spear players ranging from a number of different teams such as FeSTeR, MaDMaN1, SilentEffect, XtravegenT, and Zen have joined the team. Team members joey, m4ttx, and Stormeh enrich the team with strong backgrounds in competitve Counter-Strike. New members as well as family and friends have also been recruited to the team leaving us with a well-round group of players and friends.
